Throughout every program there is either a minor or major focus on injury prevention.
Every athlete is built differently, and every sport has its own focus, so aspects to training for prevention may be more applicable to some and not others. with this in mind, all athletes can benefit from training balance, stability, strength and flexibility, presented in ways specific to the needs of the sport.
During sessions, I explain the general anatomy used for an exercise, as well as the purpose behind the movement. By explaining this to athletes, they have a better understanding of how to transfer what they are learning into their sport to reduce the risks of injury.
